NOBLESVILLE, IN - HomeTown Sports will webcast and televise the GLVC Mens and Womens conference championships from St. Louis on March 4, 5 and 6, 2011. All games, from quarter-finals to championships will be produced. This is the second year HomeTown and GLVC have contracted to provide this service.

The Indiana High School Association, in conjunction with HomeTown Sports Indiana, has launched http://www.ihsaatv.org/, a new internet television portal for high school championship broadcasts. Fans with web access unable to view the IHSAA Champions Network via regular television will be able to watch championship games. Additional airings will include selection shows, official's meetings and Indiana high school centric content. Past productions are available via on-demand.

Operation Football UPDATE
Friday's Operation Football will not be seen live on our stream or Comcast/Brighthouse 81. It will be seen live on Comcast 82 only. Over-the-air viewers can see the game on digital 13.3 using simple rabbit ears. Out of area viewers can watch a stream on the Operation Football Section of the WTHR website.

Matt Hudson Joins HomeTown Sports
Former Wabash Quarterback Matt Hudson joins HomeTown Sports Indiana as a sideline reporter for Wabash College home football games. Matt is was a two-time NCAC Offensive Player of the Year and led the Little Giants to a thrilling victory over Depauw last year to bring home the bell and give Wabash a 54-53-9 overall lead in that series. Matt joins the voice of Wabash football, Joe Emmick and former quarterback Steve Hoffman.

RICHMOND, Ind. — Fans of the Earlham College football team can now make plans to watch and listen to broadcasts as agreements for the 2010 season were announced on Wednesday.
Earlham’s season opener against the University of the South will be televised live over the Internet by HomeTown Sports Indiana and later rebroadcast on Comcast Cable Television.
“I'm excited that Earlham College and our football program will be in the spotlight throughout the state of Indiana on the game broadcast through the HomeTown Sports network,” said Earlham College Director of Athletics Frank Carr. “This will be a great opportunity for the college to show who and what we are, which is one of the most exciting national liberal arts colleges in the country.”
The title sponsor of the television event is Reid Orthopedics. HomeTown Sports in Richmond is on Channel 81.
The initial four dates on Comcast through out Indiana are:

2010 College Football Schedule
HomeTown Sports Indiana, Indiana's most prolific producer for high school and college sports television has reached agreements with five Indiana colleges to air their football games this season on HomeTown Sports Indiana.
The University of Indianapolis has partnered with HomeTown Sports Indiana for a 5th consecutive fall to bring all home football games live to the internet, and for the first time, live to television. All UIndy home football games will air live on WTHR Digital 13.3, with multiple replays to follow on HomeTown Sports Indiana in the days after the game. Three of the five games will be night games, including the home opener on September 11th against Ashland University of Ohio.
Wabash College will begin its fourth season of having their home games air on HomeTown Sports Indiana. Wabash College’s first 4 home games will be webcast live on the Internet with several replays to follow on HomeTown Sports Indiana. The Little Giants made the Division III playoffs last season, and are perennial favorites in the North Coast Athletic Conference. Their home slate on HomeTown begins on September 11th against conference rival Wooster.
The Franklin College Grizzlies will be on HomeTown Sports Indiana this fall for a pair of home games on their new field turf at Stewart "Red" Faught Stadium. The Grizzlies will host Bluffton (OH) in their HCAC opener on September 18th, and will also play host to HCAC and in-state rival Rose Hulman on October 9th. These two games will be streamed live on HomeTownSportsIndiana.com and on FranklinGrizzlies.com, with multiple replays in the days that follow on HomeTown Sports. Additional Franklin College games in basketball and soccer will also air on HomeTown Sports Indiana as well.
Marian University begins its fourth season of football on August 28th when they host St. Francis of Illinois, and HomeTown Sports will be there for all the action. The game can be seen live on the net at HomeTownSportsIndiana.com and at MUKnights.com, with replays beginning the following day on HomeTown Sports Indiana. The Knights have had winning seasons in two of their first three seasons of competition, and look to start the season in a similar fashion as last year. The Knights won their opener on the road against St. Francis on a 50-yard field goal as time expired.
HomeTown Sports Indiana will welcome a new partner school for football this season as the Earlham College Quakers will make their debut on HomeTown Sports when they kickoff the season against the University of the South on September 4th in Richmond. The Quakers are now are a member of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, becoming the sixth Indiana school in the league. The game will be available on HomeTownSportsIndiana.com and GoEarlham.com live, with replays to follow on HomeTown Sports Indiana.
The University of Indianapolis has partnered with HomeTown Sports Indiana for a 5th consecutive fall to bring all home football games live to the internet, and for the first time, live to television. All UIndy home football games will air live on WTHR Digital 13.3, with multiple replays to follow on HomeTown Sports Indiana in the days after the game. Three of the five games will be night games, including the home opener on September 11th against Ashland University of Ohio.
Wabash College will begin its fourth season of having their home games air on HomeTown Sports Indiana. Wabash College’s first 4 home games will be webcast live on the Internet with several replays to follow on HomeTown Sports Indiana. The Little Giants made the Division III playoffs last season, and are perennial favorites in the North Coast Athletic Conference. Their home slate on HomeTown begins on September 11th against conference rival Wooster.

Noblesville Street Dance Saturday
HomeTown will be producing the Wright Brothers in concert at the 2010 Noblesville Street Dance on Saturday, July 26th. This will air on 19 and 81 next week.
Rakestraw to call American Legion Series
HomeTown's VP, Greg Rakestraw has been selected to call the American Legion World Series being held in Spokane, Washington in August. Greg has called several IHSAA State Championships and most recently called all 14 games of the NCAA Division II College "World Series" in Cary, North Carolina. Greg will share duties with long time Legion announcer, Jim Darby.
Jerry Baker Behind the Mic for 2010
Legendary Hall of Fame announcer Jerry Baker returns for a second year manning the play-by-play position for HomeTown Sports Indiana. He will call the Friday night "Operation Football Live" broadcasts on WTHR 13.3, simulcasted on Comcast and Brighthouse 81. Jerry's well known voice is recognized by Indiana sports fans of all ages.

North Wins with Comeback in OT
The North Indiana Football all-stars came from a 14-0 deficient to win a thriller in double overtime 24-21. In an 'almost' improbable Doug Flutie moment, Daniel Woddicka caught a 60 yard pass as time ran out in regulation only to find himself at the 1 foot line and the clock showing zeros. Kofi Hughes was name MVP for the South, while Woddicka was named North and Game MVP (shown with Adam Vanderwielen, HomeTown's North Rep)

Little League State Championship
HomeTown Sports Indiana will produce and air the 2010 Indiana Little League State Championship. Game date is Thursday July 29th. We'll have air times as the date approaches. The winner of this advances to the Regional Championships then on to the World Series.
Football All Star Game On HomeTown
Noblesville – HomeTown Sports Indiana will again broadcast Indiana's mid-summer football classic, The Grange Insurance IFCA North/South All-Star Game on Friday July 16th from North Central High School. This game annually brings together over 90 of the top outgoing seniors in the state of Indiana in their final football games as high school players before heading off to campus to play football in the fall. Eighteen of the players in this year's game are committed to playing football at the Division I Bowl Subdivision level. Forty-five players in total are planning on playing college football in the state of Indiana.

Livestream.com highlighted HomeTown Sports Indiana's broadcasts of the Indiana Junior-Senior all-star exhibition replays from Ft. Wayne and Rushville over this last weekend. 36,215 viewers checked-in and saw the games. Livestream is in partnership with our sister company, webstream productions, and hometown to provide internet streaming services.
