Greg Rakestraw Does IHSAA Marathon

HomeTown Sports Indiana's VP, Greg Rakestraw did a 12 hour marathon of broadcasting during the IHSAA Boys Basketball Tournament. Beginning his prep at Conseco around 8am and continuing non-stop till the completion of the 3A game, viewers, fans and listeners clearly saw why Greg is Indiana's hardest working sportscaster. Joining Dan Dachich, Greg called the 1A and 2A games on state wide television (seen on HTSI), then hustled to the west entrance of Conseco to M.C. the 100 Year 'Parade of Champions' beside long time friend and legend, Bob Lovell. Then, at 5pm, both bolted to the practice floor to interview former state champions...and finally, Greg joined up with Charlie Hall to call the 3A game on the IHSAA Championship Radio Network. At HomeTown, we're lucky to have Greg lead the charge and it's clear he himself is a legend in the making. (posted by Rick Vanderwielen, HTSI President)
