Parade of Champions Viewed Statewide on TV

10's of 1000's of Indiana homes watched the 100th Anniversary Parade of Champions, Saturday at 3pm on the Indiana Cable Network. Never before have so many legends and state champions gathered in one place to reunite and, in some cases, meet for the first time. HomeTown produced and aired the arrival of 100 years of teams and representatives as they arrived at the west entrance of Conseco. Up the red carpet in front of a large crowd of on-lookers as their names and accomplishments were read by Greg Rakestraw and Bob Lovell. Later, many of the individual stars were interviewed on the Pacers' practice court including a few of the Milan Miracle legends. March parades in Indiana? The weather was great. The man upstairs must be a fan of Indiana Basketball.
